Fernando del Cueto
Automation & AI Implementation
Industrial Engineer
Fernando was born and raised in Mexico City. As the son of Spanish parents, he grew up immersed in both cultures and understood early on that history wasn’t about conquerors or the conquered — it was about effort, resilience, and the value of building, regardless of where you come from.
From a young age, Fernando saw engineering not just as a career path, but as a way of understanding the world: observing how things work, identifying what could be improved, and creating systems where everything flows more efficiently.
He studied Industrial Engineering at Universidad Iberoamericana, where the foundation was laid for what would later become a multidisciplinary career — always with one foot in the physical world and the other in the digital one.
His first professional experience was in the textile industry, within the family business. There, he quickly applied concepts like process optimization, operational efficiency, and continuous improvement.
But his entrepreneurial drive pushed him further. Alongside his brother, he launched a trading company, aiming to leverage existing infrastructure to scale what was once artisanal into something much larger.
That venture opened the doors to a new world: interior design and furniture. They opened a couple of retail stores and eventually founded Ambienta, a furniture manufacturing business. It was there that Fernando discovered the sweet spot between physical product creation and computer-aided design. That’s when things took off. He dove into 3D rendering, web development, and production automation. He brought in CNC routers at a time when they were still a novelty in Mexico, fully embracing the transition from manual to digital craftsmanship.
At the same time, he began building his own websites, just as e‑commerce was beginning to emerge. He bet on digital long before it became mainstream.
The turning point came during the pandemic. As the world shifted, so did Fernando. He decided to step away from physical production and dedicate himself fully to tech development. He spent those years immersed in the digital world: blockchain, crypto assets, eCommerce, automation, and digital marketing. It was a new chapter — and he was writing it at full speed.
But everything changed in November 2022. When the first large language models (LLMs) became accessible to the public, Fernando immediately recognized a technological revolution in the making.
For the first time, artificial intelligence was useful, applicable, and truly close to the everyday user. Since then, he’s been exploring its potential, testing its boundaries, and—above all—implementing it in real-world solutions for businesses and personal projects.
Today, Fernando is a bridge between two worlds: AI and traditional industries. Between ideas and execution.
And he firmly believes this technology is here to transform our lives—for the better.
